Do Gooder will be unleashed on the planet on the 22nd of July – a day little known as Rat Catcher’s Day.

The most famous rat catcher of all, the Pied Piper, was an early exponent of social engagement strategy using the 14th century equivalent of Facebook (the flute) to spread his message far and wide.

The tools of persuasion may have changed but we think Do Gooder is no less effective at rallying supporters around your cause, so what better day to launch to the world?!

Speaking of causes, Do Gooder is nothing without its grass roots community of campaigners and we’re excited to be joined for our global launch by the campaigners from Lock the Gate - an alliance of over 90 community, industry and environmental groups concerned with the devastating impact of fossil fuel extraction in Australia - in particular, coal seam gas (CSG) mining.

We’ll show off the new actions in the toolbox and put them through their paces live (without a net!) as we challenge our good community to a ‘Frack Off’! (it'll make sense on the night, trust us!)

Expect local (possibly organic) beers, organic (possibly local) food, a secret celebrity trouble maker (both organic and local!) and the social change equivalent of the A-list as we roll out the red carpet and crank up the Good tunes playlist (BYO flutes!).
